China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation Tianjin Branch is a
state-owned super-large complex and integrated with oil refining,
ethylene, chemical and chemical fiber production. It was located at
Tianjin Binhai New Area, encompassing 14 km2, east to the Oilfield of
Bohai Bay and south to Dagang Oilfield. It possesses superior
geographical position by convenient land and sea transportation, linked
by railways and highways to the urban city and Tianjin Port and
oil-conveying pipelines to Dagang Oilfield and Nanjiang Petrochemical
Quay of Tianjin Port.
China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation Tianjin Branch owns 23
oil refining units, 21 chemical production units and 3 major chemical
fiber production units. The processing capacity of crude oil achieved
15.5 million t/y, ethylene 1.2 million t/y (incl.the capacity of JV), PX
380,000t/y, PTA 3440,00t/y, polyester 200,000t/y. Crude oil storage
volume is up to 270,000m3. It also owns associated utilities with
400,000KW installed capacity of power supply and 100,000t/d water
supply. The main products in the three categories of oil refining,
petrochemical and chemical fiber are clean automobile gasoline, kerosene
oil, light diesel oil, liquid petroleum gas, petrol coke, p-xylene,
purified terephthalic acid, benzene, ethylene, polyethylene,
polypropylene, ethylene oxide, ethylene glycol, phenol, acetone,
butadiene, butene-1 and polyester. The products are well-known on the
market, among which stable fiber and 3# jet fuel oil are state-awarded
products, Brand Jingang Leadfree Gasoline, 3# jet fuel oil, Light Diesel
Oil and Brand Tianxian Stable Fiber, etc are awarded as Famous Brand
Products of Tianjin Municipality.
